About Nepenthe:
Nepenthe is a mostly glam-rock/gothic VK band in style. Their music is mostly inspired by bands such as Dir en Grey, Velvet Eden, Pierrot, Kagerou, and MUCC and stays on the darker side of things. The members often commit fanservice onstage, and though Nepenthe is only two years in the making, they have a rather good fanbase, even if it is mostly from their hometown.

Rin Itaya - Vocals
Age: 19
Type: DOC Tender Yen
Likes: Skirts, singing, attention, writing lyrics, annoying Nanashi, shit kicking boots, friends, videogames
Dislikes: Pants, country music, people that don't like him, people stealing his spotlight, school

Rin is definitely the most active of the band. He loves writing lyrics and pandering to his fans. He's the first one out on the floor once their set is over and the last one to go home at the end of the night. Rin is very outgoing and open. He loves attention and often tries to put himself in the spotlight, no matter what the situation. He enjoys meeting new people but he makes sure to keep his circle of close friends very tight, as they are the only people he truly trusts. He’s also quite generous and will definitely give up his time or money if someone he’s close to is in need of it.

Nanashi - Guitar
Age: 19
Type: DOC U
Likes: Cigarettes, being alone, Enlai, his guitar, writing music, traveling, his car, storms, loud music, coffee, plants, rock music
Dislikes: Annoying people, crowds, vegetables, mornings, cities, pop music

Nanashi's onstage personality is that of the crowd lover. He's constantly doing backflips into the audience and surfing his way back to the stage. He often goes wild during his guitar solos, loving the attention. Offstage Nanashi comes off as aloof and distant, but once you get to know him he is trustworthy and loyal. He is very quiet and keeps to himself; he doesn’t like crowds of people and tends to feel awkward in social situations. He also can be really stubborn.

Cho - Drums
Age: 18
Type: Custom House Hades
Likes: Butterflies, drumming, alcohol, not wearing much clothing, Being mistaken for a little girl, milk, shiny things
Dislikes: being told to grown up, being alone, darkness, fish

Cho looks innocent and delicate, but that is far from his real personality. He is very hyper active and destructive. Although he is the drummer and is not center stage, he often times brings attention to himself by kicking over his drumms at then end of the lives and running around the stage before throwing his drum sticks into the audience. His name, Cho, he gave himself because its the female japanese name meaning butterfly.

Cy - Rhythm Guitar and Backup Vo.
Age: 20
Type: DOC Si
Likes: dressing up, lolita fashion, close friends, flowers, his mother, being outside, polar bears, snow
Dislikes: smokers, attention, small spaces, cities, loud noises, bullies, summer, large crowds

Cy is really shy and introverted. He hides behind his fashions, using them to talk about and not sharing anything more about himself. He's definitely the most quiet of the band, and the most apt to get stage fright. Every show Rin has to calm him down and convince him that everything's going to be fine. He moves around the least, but manages a smile once in a while. He sings backup vocals for the band when they need it, his voice high and delicate, much like Ryutarou's of Plastic Tree, but he mostly sticks to his guitar, liking to play 2nd because it brings less attention to him.

Kaylin - Bass
Age: 21
Type: Serendipity Valencia
Likes: alcohol, "babysitting" Cho, punk, his bass, playing on stage, worn jeans, coffee
Dislikes: his roommates, "babysitting" Cho, internet, having to force everyone to focus

Kaylin is the serious one of the band. He takes care of most of the financial issues and other business matters. On stage he's usually concentrating on his music the most, taking small breaks to flip off or otherwise tease the fans. He's also the oldest, and legal, so he uses this to his advantage to buy drinks for the others after shows, thus making him a favorite despite his cold-ish attitude.

Age: 19

Likes: Sewing, puddles, swingsets, watching Nashi play onstage, Nashi, school
Dislikes: his hair, dorms, having to dress "normal", mexican food

Enlai is Nashi's boyfriend and number one supporter of the band. He often comes to practice to offer his opinions and wardrobe services, as he is quite skilled with a sewing machine and makeup. He can be quite shy at times but isn't afraid to laugh and have a good time once he gets going. He usually watches the shows from backstage and oftentimes is reluctantly dragged on at the end by Nanashi.

Koishii
Age: 19
Type: BlueFairy Jerome
Likes: His brother, reading, fashion, being around people
Dislikes: Being alone, vegetables, thunderstorms

Nanshi's twin (not identical) brother. While Nanashi is strong with dark hair; Koishii is weak, manipulative, and an albino. He has a big 'brother complex' as well as delusions of the relationship between his older twin and himself.

Suiteki - Japanese for "a drop of water"

About Suiteki:
Suiteki was formed less than a year ago with the meeting of Warren and Jun. With Warren's guitar skills, Jun's voice, and both their good looks they've been charging the visual scene head-on.

Jun Lee - Vocals
Age: 16
Type: Kid DELF Ttori
Likes: modeling, singing, clothes, sweets, kimono, books, teddy bears
Dislikes: rap, pastel colors, shoes, television

Jun Lee is a the vocalist of up and coming visual group Suiteki as well as a successful model. Being younger than all the members of Nepenthe, and more popular, gets him named as the band's arch-rival. His attitude probably doesn't help matters either, as he can be quite uppity and have quite an attitude during a show. However, offstage and away from the venue, Jun is actually rather timid and kind. And unfortunately has no idea of how he acts once he gets onstage, all he knows is that he loves his job.

Warren - Guitar
Age: 17

Likes: Guitars, music, dresses, being on stage, Vale, hats, bloomers, black, his hair, kimonos, drawing, reading, clothes, different colored contacts, long guitar solos :3
Dislikes: Being mistaken for a girl, when he can't have things his way, crowds that won't get into their show, long car rides, rap, people who don't like him dressing in dresses

Warren is the lead guitarist for the band Suiteki with Jun. He loves to act haughty and aristocratic on stage, but is a little shy and quiet offstage. He loves to let loose and act crazy onstage. He can have an attitude sometimes, and often likes to have things his way. He loves to do all sorts of crazy things with his hair, including wearing wigs onstage or getting extensions at the last minute so he can go onstage with long black hair. He loves wearing his kimono on stage and performing for any size of crowd. He also loves to mix things up and wear different kimonos for different live shows, oftentimes picking right before he goes on. Outside of Suiteki, Warren is kinda quiet and likes to draw and read. He loves to wear pretty much anything from cargo pants to dresses.


Zephyr - Drums
Age: 16
Type: DoC Si
Likes: Bright colors, shiny things, playing the Taiko, annoying Jun and Warren, piggyback rides, sleeveless yukata, stuffed animals, rice, Japanese food
Dislikes: Vegetables, Jun's serious side, people who don't like Suiteki

Zephyr is energetic and carefree, and loves to play the loudest during band practice (this usually isn't very hard ^^) His parents run a asian style bath house and day spa, and have been teaching Zephyr to play the taiko ever since he was young. He met Jun and Warren while living in the dorms in St. Gales. When he's playing onstage, he hates having long kimono sleeves in his way and he usually ties them back, or asks Jun to buy or make a sleeveless kimono or yukata for him. Even though he's in the back of the stage, Zephyr likes to stand out in his own way, usually jumping from the taiko to his regular drum set quickly, and changing a lot during concerts. He acts a little more serious than he usually does onstage, but he hates it when Warren and Jun get very serious and usually tries to get them to loosen up before and after they perform.

Yukito - Bass

Likes: cookies, swimming, horses, puppies, cartoons, music, pink
Dislikes: being told "no", swim meets getting in the way of band practice and vice-versa, making his Pop and Dad angry, ignorant people, studying

Academic-wise, Yukito is quite average, which comes at a great annoyance to his fathers, but he manages to keep himself at a safe medium most of the time. With the swim team, however, Yukito excels. He's a top competitor and loves the sport as much as playing in the band. Both things he does with an equal amount of zeal and energy, and despite his spoiled nature, isn't a sore loser should he come in second under fair means. All in all, Yukito comes from an unorthodox family and so is accepting of everyone, adding to his kind nature. He's energetic, sweet, almost always smiling, and always tries to look on the bright side of things. As long as you don't catch yourself on the wrong side of a pout and any sentence beginning with the words "I want" Yukito is a total angel.
